حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to walk in front of the funeral procession."
