Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13072 — I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: whenever

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ السُّلَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَعْجَلَهُ السَّيْرُ فِي السَّفَرِ يُؤَخِّرُ صَلَاةَ الْمَغْرِبِ حَتَّى يَجْمَعَ بَيْنَهَا، وَبَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): whenever travelling in haste was pressing upon him on a journey, he would delay the Maghrib prayer until he combined it with the Isha prayer."
