حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ أَنَّهُ: «رَأَى ابْنَ عُمَرَ إِزَارُهُ إِلَى نِصْفِ سَاقِهِ، وَقَمِيصُهُ فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ، وَرِدَاؤُهُ فَوْقَ الْقَمِيصِ»
Abu al-Mutawakkil narrates that he saw Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): his lower garment reached the middle of his shin, his shirt was above that, and his cloak was over the shirt.
