حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ: " كَانَ يَدْخُلُ الْحَمَّامَ فَيُنَوِّرُهُ صَاحِبُ الْحَمَّامِ، فَإِذَا بَلَغَ حَقْوَهُ يَقُولُ لِصَاحِبِ الْحَمَّامِ: اخْرُجْ "
Nafi' narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when he entered the bathhouse, the bathhouse keeper would apply nurah (a depilatory paste) to him, and when he reached his waist, he would say to the bathhouse keeper: "Go out."
