Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 13008 — Garlic would be crushed for Ibn Umar

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَ الثُّومُ يُدَاسُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ فَيُنْظَمُ فِي خَيْطٍ، وَيُلْقَى فِي الْمَرَقَةِ فِي خَيْطٍ، وَيُسْتَخْرَجُ فِي خَيْطٍ فَيُلْقَى فَيَأْكُلُ»
Muhammad bin Sirin said: "Garlic would be crushed for Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), then threaded on a string, put into the broth along with the string, then taken out with the string and thrown away, and then he would eat (the broth)."
