Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12989 — Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased)

Nafi' said: Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would distribute thirty thousand in a single sitting, while a month would pass over him in which he did not eat even a piece of meat. Burd said: I asked Nafi': Did he eat meat? He said: When he was fasting or travelling, meat was most of his food.
