Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12905 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Jibril

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جُنَادٍ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فِي ثَلَاثٍ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْقِعْدَةِ، فَقَالَ: دَخَلَتِ الْعُمْرَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْيَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) came to me when three nights of Dhu al-Qa'dah remained and said: 'Umrah has entered into Hajj until the Day of Resurrection.'" On that occasion the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Had I known beforehand what I came to know later, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal (hady) with me."
