Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12777 — the Prophet ﷺ, narrating

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrating from the Trustworthy Spirit (Jibril, peace be upon him), said: "The Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, said: On the Day of Resurrection the good deeds and the bad deeds of a servant will be brought, and they will diminish one another; then if a single good deed remains, Allah will admit him into Paradise." The narrator said: I said: "And if not even one good deed remains?" He said: "(In accordance with this saying of Allah Almighty:) 'Those are the ones from whom We accept the best of what they did and overlook their misdeeds, among the companions of Paradise' [Surah al-Ahqaf: 16]." The narrator said: I said: "Then what is the meaning of this saying of Allah Almighty: 'No soul knows what has been hidden for them of the comfort of the eyes' [Surah al-Sajdah: 17]?" He said: "This is the servant who does a good deed in secret; Allah will keep it hidden for him on the Day of Resurrection, then he will see the comfort of the eyes."
