Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12684 — I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas

Abu al-Hakam al-Sulami (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated: I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) about nabidh made in earthenware jars, and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade earthenware jars and gourd vessels."
And Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Whoever holds unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful, let him also hold unlawful the nabidh (of such jars)."
