Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1264 — The Companions said: O Messenger

Sayyiduna Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah, some people cut off the humps of camels and the tails of sheep while they are alive." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever is cut from an animal while it is alive is carrion."
