حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَارُودِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَسِيدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «إِنَّ لِلَّهِ جُلَسَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، عَنْ يَمِينِ الْعَرْشِ، وَكِلْتَا يَدَيِ اللهِ يَمِينٌ عَلَى مَنَابِرَ مِنْ نُورٍ، وُجُوهُهُمْ مِنْ نُورٍ لَيْسُوا بِأَنْبِيَاءَ، وَلَا شُهَدَاءَ، وَلَا صِدِّيقِينَ» قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ , مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: «الْمُتَحَابُّونَ بِجِلَالِ اللهِ تَعَالَى»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty will have special companions on the Day of Resurrection on the right side of the Throne, and both of Allah's Hands are right, upon pulpits of light; their faces will be of light. They will be neither prophets, nor martyrs, nor the truthful ones (siddiqin)." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah, who will they be? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those who loved one another for the majesty of Allah Almighty."
