Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12552 — A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ , فَقَالَ: مَا عَمَلٌ إِنْ عَمِلْتُ بِهِ دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ؟ قَالَ: «أَنْتَ بِبَلَدٍ يُجْلَبُ بِهِ الْمَاءُ؟» قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: «فَاشْتَرِ بِهَا سِقَاءً جَدِيدًا ثُمَّ اسْتَقِ فِيهَا حَتَّى تَخْرِقَهَا، فَإِنَّكَ لَنْ تَخْرِقَهَا حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ بِهَا عَمَلَ الْجَنَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: What deed is there that, if I do it, I will enter Paradise? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you in a town to which water is brought (from afar)?" He said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then buy a new waterskin with it, then keep drawing water with it until it wears through, for it will not wear through before you have reached, by means of it, the deed of Paradise."
