Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12446 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to a group

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى جَمَاعَةً مِنَ التُّجَّارِ، فَقَالَ: «يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ» فَاسْتَجَابُوا لَهُ وَمَدُّوا أَعْنَاقَهُمْ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ بَاعِثُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فُجَّارًا إِلَّا مَنْ صَدَقَ وَبَرَّ، وَأَدَّى الْأَمَانَةَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a group of merchants and said: "O assembly of merchants!" They responded to him and raised their necks, paying attention. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty will raise you on the Day of Resurrection as wicked people, except whoever spoke the truth, acted righteously and fulfilled the trust."
