حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابَهُ: «اعْتَمَرُوا مِنَ الْجِعْرَانَةِ، فَاضْطَبَعُوا، وَجَعَلُوا أَرْدِيَتَهُمْ تَحْتَ آبَاطِهِمْ وَرَقَّوْهَا عَلَى عَوَاتِقِهِمْ، ثُمَّ رَمَلُوا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his (peace and blessings be upon him) Companions performed Umrah from al-Ji'ranah. They performed idtiba', taking their upper garments under their armpits and throwing them over their shoulders, and then they performed raml.
