حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خُلَيْدٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْكِلَابِيُّ، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِ سَبِّحْ، وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ، وَقُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ سُورَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray the witr with "Sabbih", "Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun" and "Qul huwa Allahu ahad", one surah in each rak'ah.
