حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ لِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ، وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wiping over the leather socks (khuffs) is for one day and night for the resident, and three days and nights for the traveller."
