Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1227 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَوَاءٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الْأَشْهَبُ الضُّبَعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي بَشِيرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الضُّبَعِيُّ، وَكَانَ، قَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ ذِي قارٍ: «هَذَا أَوَّلُ يَوْمٍ انْتَصَفَتْ فِيهِ الْعَرَبُ، مِنَ الْعَجَمِ»
Sayyiduna Bashir bin Yazid al-Duba'i (may Allah be pleased with him), who had also lived in the Jahiliyyah, said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of Dhu Qar: "This is the first day on which the Arabs took their due from the Persians."
