Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the night I was taken on the Night Journey (Mi'raj), I noticed a fragrance, so I asked: 'O Jibril, what is this fragrance?' He said: 'This is the fragrance of the woman who combed the hair of Pharaoh's daughter, and of her children.' I asked: 'What is her story?' He said: 'She was combing the hair of Pharaoh's daughter when suddenly the comb fell from her hand, and she said: Bismillah (In the name of Allah). Pharaoh's daughter said: Are you referring to my father? She said: No, rather my Lord, your Lord and your father's Lord is Allah. She said: Do you have a lord other than my father? She said: Yes. She (Pharaoh's daughter) said: Shall I tell him this? She said: Yes, tell him. So she told Pharaoh, and he summoned her and said: O so-and-so, do you have a lord other than me? She said: Yes, my Lord and your Lord is Allah. So he ordered a cow (-shaped furnace) of copper to be made, and it was heated intensely; then her children began to be thrown into it one by one. She said: I have a request of you. He asked: What is it? She said: I would like you to gather my bones and the bones of my children in a single cloth and bury us together. He said: That is (granted) to you as an obligation upon us. So her children kept being thrown into the (copper) cow until it came to the turn of an infant son of hers who was still nursing, and she seemed to hesitate because of him. That child said to her (by the power of Allah): O my mother, leap in, for the punishment of this world is lighter than the punishment of the Hereafter.'" Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Four children spoke at a young age: Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him), the child in the incident of Jurayj, the child who bore witness for Yusuf (peace be upon him), and the son of Pharaoh's mashitah (hair-dresser). (This wording is from the narration of Abu Umar al-Darir.)
