Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this protective supplication over Sayyiduna Hasan and Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both): "I seek refuge for you both in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every venomous creature, and from every evil eye."
