حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ الْبورانيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ رُزَيْقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ قَاعِدٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ نَقِيضًا مِنْ فَوْقِهِ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ: " هَذَا بَابٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ لَمْ يُفْتَحْ قَطُّ إِلَّا الْيَوْمَ فَنَزَلَ مِنْهُ مَلَكٌ، فَقَالَ: هَذَا مَلَكٌ نَزَلَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ إِلَّا الْيَوْمَ فَسَلَّمَ، وَقَالَ: أَبْشِرْ بِنُورَيْنِ أُوتِيتَهُمَا لَمْ يُؤْتَهُمَا نَبِيٌّ قَبْلَكَ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ، وَخَوَاتِيمِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ لَمْ تَقْرَأْ بِحَرْفٍ مِنْهَا إِلَّا أُعْطِيتَهُ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Once Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him) was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he heard a creaking sound from above, so he raised his head and said: "This is a door of the heaven that has been opened today; it was never opened before." An angel descended from it, and (Jibril) said: "This is an angel who has descended to the earth; he never descended before." The angel greeted with salam and said: Receive the glad tidings of two lights that have been given to you, which were not given to any prophet before you: Surah al-Fatihah and the closing verses of Surah al-Baqarah. You will not recite a single letter of them except that (what is in it) will be granted to you.
