Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 12180 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade only

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ الْمُصْمَتِ، فَأَمَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ سَدَاهُ أَوْ لُحْمَتُهُ حَرِيرًا فَلَا بَأْسَ بِلِبْسِهِ»
«وَنَهَى عَنِ الْإِنَاءِ الْفِضَّةِ»
«وَنَهَى عَنِ الْإِنَاءِ الْفِضَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade only pure silk; as for a garment whose warp or weft is silk, there is no harm in wearing it."
