حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ، ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ النَّحْوِيِّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «شَهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ أَلْفٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, one thousand men of Banu Sulaym were present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
