It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man from the Ansar had two male camels which became frenzied with rut. He drove them into a walled garden and shut the gate on them. Then he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), intending to ask him (peace and blessings be upon him) to supplicate for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting, and with him (peace and blessings be upon him) was a group of the Ansar. He said: "O Prophet of Allah! I have come with a need. My two male camels have become frenzied, so I shut them in a walled garden and locked the gate on them. I would like you to supplicate for me that Allah makes them submissive to me." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Companions: "Come with us." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) set off until he reached the gate and said: "Open it." The man feared for the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but he (peace and blessings be upon him) said again: "Open it." So he opened the gate, and there was one of the camels near the gate. When it saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it prostrated to him (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring me something with which I can tie its head, and I will give you control over it." He brought some rope, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) tied its head and gave him control over it. Then the two of them walked to the far end of the garden, to the other camel. When it saw him (peace and blessings be upon him), it too fell down in prostration before him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the man: "Bring me something with which I can tie its head." He tied its head and gave him control over it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go, they will not disobey you now." When the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw this, they said: "O Messenger of Allah! These two senseless animals prostrate to you; should we not prostrate to you?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not order anyone to prostrate to anyone, and if I were to order anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would order the woman to prostrate to her husband."
