Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11944 — the Prophet ﷺ said: The blood money

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّشيطيُّ، ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «دِيَةُ الْمُكَاتَبِ قَدْرَ مَا عَتَقَ مِنْهُ دِيَةُ الْحُرِّ، وَمَا رَقَّ مِنْهُ دِيَةُ الْمَمْلُوكِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The blood money of a mukatab is the blood money of a free man in proportion to the part of him that has been freed, and the blood money of a slave (mamluk) in proportion to the part of him that remains enslaved."
