Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that when Surah al-Nasr was revealed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) and said: "I have been informed of my death." She wept, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Do not weep, for you will be the first of my family to join me." At this she laughed. One of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw her and said to her: I saw you weep and laugh! She said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "I have been informed of my death," so I wept. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not weep, for you will be the first of my family to join me," so I laughed.
