حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «جَعَلَ فِي قَبْرِهِ قَطِيفَةَ أُرْجُوانٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a purple velvet cloth was spread in the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
