حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الدُّورِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ النَّطَّاعِ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُعَاذٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ التومنيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وأَجَرَهُ، وَلَوْ كَانَ خَبِيثًا لَمْ يُطْعِمْهُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had himself cupped and gave the cupper his wage, and had it been impure (earnings), he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not have given it to him to eat.
