حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَخَطَبَ فَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُسْمِعِ النِّسَاءَ فَأَتَاهُنَّ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَقَالَ: «تَصَدَّقْنَ» فَجَعَلْتِ الْمَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي الْخَاتَمَ وَالْقُرْطَ وَالْخُرْصَ وَالشيءَ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَجَمَعَهُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ حَتَّى أَمْضَاهُ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I attended the Eid with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He delivered the sermon, then thought that the women had not heard him, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) went to them, admonished them and said: "Give charity." So the women began throwing in rings, earrings, ear-hoops and other things. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he gathered it in his garment until he took it away.
