Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11794 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Learn

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْبَارِقِيُّ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَعَلَّمُوا الزَّهْرَاوَيْنِ الْبَقَرَةَ، وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَجِيئَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ، أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَيَايَتَانِ، أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا فِرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافٍّ يُحَاجَّانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِمَا، تَعَلَّمُوا الْبَقَرَةَ، فَإِنَّ أَخَذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ، وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ، وَلَا تَسْتَطِيعُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Learn the two radiant ones, al-Baqarah and Al Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as though they were two clouds, or two canopies, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading on behalf of their companion. Learn Surah al-Baqarah, for taking it up is a blessing and abandoning it is a cause of regret, and the sorcerers cannot overcome it."
