حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَالُوتَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْقَطَّانِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «أُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي رَمَضَانَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا جُمْلَةً، ثُمَّ أُنْزِلَ نُجُومًا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Qur'an was sent down on the Night of Decree in Ramadan to the lowest heaven all at once, then it was sent down little by little."
