حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ جَمِيلَةَ بِنْتَ سَلُولٍ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي لَا أَعْيَبُ عَلَى ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ فِي خُلُقٍ، وَلَا دَيْنٍ، وَلَكِنِّي لَا أُطِيقُهُ، وَأَكْرَهُ الْكُفْرَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَرُدِّينَ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ؟» قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْهَا مَا سَاقَ إِلَيْهَا وَلَا يَزْدَادَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Jamilah bint Salul (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I do not find fault with Thabit bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) in his character or his religion, but I cannot bear him, and I fear ingratitude while in Islam. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Will you return his garden to him?" She said: Yes. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to take from her only what he had given her, and not to take more than that.
