حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «لَا يَنْبَغِي الصَّلَاةُ مِنْ أَحَدٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، إِلَّا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "It is not proper for anyone to send salah (blessings) in this way upon anyone, except upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
