حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ نُسَيْرِ بْنِ ذُعْلُوقٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِرْعٌ مَرْهُونَةٌ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ، فَمَا وَجَدَ مَا يَفُكُّها حَتَّى مَاتَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a coat of armour pledged with a Jew, and he did not find the means to redeem it until he passed away.
