حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا أُحِلَّتْ ذَبَائِحُ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى لِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The slaughtered animals of the Jews and Christians were made lawful only because they believed in the Torah and the Injil."
