حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَيَقْرَأَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ أَقْوَامٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people from my Ummah will recite the Qur'an, but they will pass out of Islam just as an arrow passes through the game."
