Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11712 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Some poetry

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some poetry is wisdom."
