Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11696 — Sayyidah Sawdah feared that the Prophet

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Sayyidah Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) feared that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would divorce her, so she said: "O Messenger of Allah! Keep me and do not divorce me, and give my turn to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) did so, and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed this verse: "Then there is no sin upon the two of them if they make a settlement between themselves, and settlement is better" [Surah al-Nisa: 128]. So whatever they settle upon is permissible.
