حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ وَهْرَامٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تَطْرُقُوا النِّسَاءَ لَيْلًا» يَعْنِي إِذَا قَدِمَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ سَفَرٍ لَا يَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ إِلَّا نَهَارًا، قَالَ: فَقَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَافِلًا مِنْ سَفَرٍ، وَذَهَبَ رَجُلَانِ فَسَبَقَا بَعْدَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَيَا أَهْلَيْهِمَا فَوَجَدَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مَعَ أَهْلِهِ رَجُلًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not come upon women unexpectedly at night." That is, when one of you returns from a journey, he should go to his family only during the day. The narrator said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was returning from a journey, and two men, after this saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), went ahead (in haste) and reached their families, and each of them found a strange man with his wife.
