حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَرْوِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمُحَلِّلِ قَالَ: «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا نِكَاحَ رَغْبَةٍ، لَا نِكَاحَ دَلْسَةٍ، وَلَا مستهزئٍ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ لَمْ يَذُقِ الْعُسَيْلَةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the muhallil (the man who marries a divorced woman only to make her lawful for her former husband), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The only valid marriage is a marriage of genuine desire; not a marriage of deception, nor (the marriage) of one who mocks the Book of Allah, who has not tasted the honey (of intimacy)."
