حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «مَنْ شَرِبَ شَرَابًا يُذْهِبُ عَنْهُ عَقْلَهُ الَّذِي أُعْطَاهُ فَقَدْ أَتَى بَابًا منْ أَبْوَابِ الْكَبَائِرِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever drinks something that takes away his intellect, which was given to him, has stepped through one of the doors of the major sins.
