حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ، ثنا هَانِئُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ الْإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَالَ جَزَى اللهُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنَّا مَا هُوَ أَهْلُهُ أَتْعَبَ سَبْعِينَ كَاتِبًا أَلْفَ صَبَاحٍ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says: 'May Allah reward Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on our behalf with what he deserves,' has kept seventy scribes busy for a thousand mornings."
