Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11444 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: May Allah

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رَحِمَ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ: «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on those who shave their heads." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten their hair?" After three times he said: "And those who shorten their hair as well."
