حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ يَعْنِي أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «مَنْ قَدِمَ حَاجًّا وَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَقَدِ انْقَضَتْ حَجَّتُهُ، وَصَارَتْ عُمْرَةً، وَكَذَلِكَ سُنَّةُ اللهِ وَسُنَّةُ رَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever comes with the intention of Hajj and performs the circumambulation of the House of Allah and the sa'y between Safa and Marwah, his Hajj has ended and it has become an Umrah, and this is the Sunnah of Allah and of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
