حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «قَطَعَ الْأَوْدِيَةَ، وَجَاءَ بِالْهَدْي فَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْكَعْبَةِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ يَا أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ فَأَخِّرُوا طَوَافَكُمْ حَتَّى تَرْجِعُوا»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) crossed the valleys and brought the sacrificial animal (hady) with him, so it was not (permissible) for him to perform the circumambulation of the House of Allah and the sa'y between Safa and Marwah (in order to come out of ihram). But as for you, O people of Makkah, delay your circumambulation until you return.
