Ata from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11331 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «رَخَّصَ لِلرِّعَاءِ أَنْ يَرْمُوا لَيْلًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted the herdsmen to do the stoning of the Jamarat at night.
