Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11307 — from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas

Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: Moving fast (ida') began with the Bedouins. They used to stand at the edges of the people, with bows and quivers hanging on them, and when they moved off quickly these would make a rattling sound. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen in such a state that the bone behind his (peace and blessings be upon him) she-camel's ear seemed to be touching the top of her withers, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "O people, proceed calmly! O people, proceed calmly!"
