Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1119 — from Sayyiduna Bilal that the Messenger
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْيَمَانِ، ثنا الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الشَّامِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ الذِّمَارِيِّ، عَنْ نِمْرَانَ الْيَحْصِبِيِّ، عَنْ بِلَالٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا بِلَالُ، نَادِ فِي النَّاسِ، مَنْ قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ بِسَنَةٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، أَوْ شَهْرٍ، أَوْ جُمُعَةٍ، أَوْ يَوْمٍ، أَوْ سَاعَةٍ " قَالَ: إِذًا يَتَّكِلُوا، قَالَ: «وَإِنِ اتَّكَلُوا»
Nimran al-Yahsubi narrates from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Bilal! Announce among the people that whoever says 'La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah)' a year before his death will enter Paradise, or a month, or a week, or a day, or an hour before." (Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him)) said: Then people will rely on this alone. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Even if they rely on it."
