Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 11174 — the Prophet ﷺ said: No one takes charge

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one takes charge of any office except that well-being is spread out for him. If he accepts it, it is made complete for him; and if he turns away from it, doors are opened upon him which he has no strength to bear." The narrator said: I asked Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): What does 'khafara 'anha' mean? He said: "That he seeks out slips and matters that are meant to be concealed."
