حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا، وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was granted victory by the saba (the east wind), and the people of Ad were destroyed by the dabur (the west wind)."
