حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «ابْنُ آدَمَ سِتُّونَ وَثَلَاثُمِائَةِ مَفْصِلٍ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهَا فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ صَدَقَةٌ» قَالَ: «الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهَا الرَّجُلُ صَدَقَةٌ، وَعَوْنُ الرَّجُلِ أَخَاهُ عَلَى الشَّيْءِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَالشربةُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ يَسْقِيهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَإِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The son of Adam has three hundred and sixty joints, and upon each joint, every day, there is a charity." He said: "A good word that a man speaks is charity; a man's helping his brother in some matter is charity; a drink of water that he gives someone is charity; and removing something harmful from the road is charity."
